Homework

Math Homework

Weekly Homework

As a fifth grader, your child will have about 1 hour and 10 minutes of homework per night.  As a rule, students should have 10 minutes of homework per grade level plus 20 minutes of nightly reading (5th grade- 5 x 10 +20= 70 minutes).

Math   (20 minutes)

At the beginning of the year students will use Reflex math every night Monday-Thursday for math homework.  They should spend 20 minutes on the program with a goal of getting to the "green light" each night.

Once students reach 100% on Reflex math, they will have a math problem solving sheet.  They will get the sheet in Monday folders and it will be due each Friday.
